Nancy L. Isserlis, principal of Winston and Cashatt Lawyers, has been elected president of the Legal Foundation of Washington for 2008 by its Board of Trustees.
Other newly elected officers are: Nicholas P. Gellert, of counsel with Perkins Coie, vice president; Michele G. Radosevich, of Davis Wright Tremaine, secretary; and Rima J. Alaily, of Heller Ehrman, treasurer.
William Hyslop, of Lukins & Annis, is returning for a second two-year term as the Washington Supreme Court appointee. Wallace Webster II, of Bank of America, also returns as a trustee for 2008. New members of the Board of Trustees serving two-year terms are Kitsap County Superior Court Judge Theodore Spearman, appointed by the Washington State Bar Association Board of Governors, and gubernatorial appointees Art Wang, of the Washington Employment Security Department, and Barbara Fox, a limited practice/escrow officer.
The Foundation was established in 1985 at the direction of the Washington Supreme Court to support legal aid and law-related education through the Interest on Lawyers’ Trust Accounts (IOLTA) program. The Foundation is a supporter of the Alliance for Equal Justice, a statewide network of organizations providing legal aid to those with nowhere else to turn.
