Call for Nominations
The KCBA Young Lawyers Division (YLD) is seeking nominees for the 2008 Outstanding Mentor Award. Candidates should have made substantial contributions to teaching, training, and/or professional development of a legal or non-legal nature for one or more young lawyers. Young lawyers are those who have been practicing for less than five years, or those who are under the age of 36 as of December 31st of this year.
Nominators must be a young lawyer and current KCBA member.
To nominate your mentor, please send a letter or email describing the nominee, and explaining why you are nominating him or her for the award.

Mark your calendars for the YLD Winter Social on January 24, 2008 for an evening to gather with colleagues and recognize our outstanding mentors. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 at the door.
