On July 20, KCBA organized a bowling tournament at ACME Bowling, Billiards and Events in Tukwila to benefit Food Lifeline's Food Frenzy. Teams representing local law firms, bar associations and other groups, bowled their way to a great time in support of a great cause.
The event raised $1,294.60 for Food Lifeline. A special thank you is owed to the participating teams from the Asian Bar Association, The Walthew Law Firm, Forsberg & Umlauf, P.S., the 13th Coast Guard District Legal Office, the Guardian-ship/Elder Law Section, Leen and O'Sullivan, the Young Lawyers Division, Oseran Hahn Spring and Watts, P.S., and the KCBA staff.
The event was so successful there are plans to make this an annual event to benefit Food Lifeline, so start practicing now. Next year we hope to double the participation and contributions.
