New KCBA Government Lawyers’
Section in Formation
The new Government Lawyers’ Section of the King County Bar Association is in it organizational stages. The Section was created to provide a forum for lawyers who represent, or work closely with, government entities. As contemplated, the section will meet to discuss issues, hear from elected officials, and discuss current challenges facing lawyers who work with government clients.
If you are a lawyer interested in participating in this Section, please return your membership packet, or go on line to the KCBA web site, and be sure to indicate “Government Lawyers” as your choice of Section. The Section dues are free this year. What’s more, as a “charter member” you can help define the agenda for the coming year and help define an overall direction for this new Section.
Anyone wishing more information should feel free to contact Section Chair, Lucy Isaki, at the Attorney General’s Office (206) 389-2598.
