    2003 Washington State Professional Guardian Certification Training

    September 11 and 12, 2003
    Yakima Valley Museum, 8:00am - 5:00pm

    Anyone intrested in guardianship, elder law or vulnerable persons issues may register. Full attendance both days is required for initial certification as a Washington Professional Guardian. All registrants receive the new 2003 Washington Professional Guardian Manual. Lunch, as well as morning and afternoon refreshments are provided both days. Group hotel rates are available through the KCBA Continuing Legal Education Office. Space is quite limited so register early!

    LEGALLY BOUND 2: Relocation Restrictions Under the New Act

    Who Should Attend:

    Attorneys, parenting evaluators, and mental health professionals interested in parent relocation issues. This advanced training will explore the trend of decision-making under the Relocation Act of 2001, with special emphasis on practical application of the Act; questions left unaswered by the Act; and the legal & psychological consequences to children and parents of relocation and litigation concerning relocation. This program is not a repeat of "Legally Bound" but will explore some of the post-dissolution family control issues in that popular 2001 program.
