Professionalism Inquiry

    The mission of this page is to provide an outlet for attorneys to discuss and address issues regarding the ethical and professional practice of law and to provide strategies for reacting to unprofessional conduct by opposing counsel.

    I agree to the following terms and conditions:

    1. Mentors cannot be called as witnesses and their responses cannot be quoted in any proceeding;
    2. I will not name opposing counsel;
    3. I will not name parties;
    4. I will not name judges;
    5. I will not provide cause numbers or other identifiers for cases;
    6. Replies will address practical issues regarding professionalism. Although it may be necessary from time to time to discuss the application of laws and rules, this is not a forum for procuring legal advice on practice or procedure or violation of any rules governing the conduct of lawyers;
    7. I will not make an inquiry in this forum that involves a matter with an active professionalism mentor;
    8. The person submitting the request releases mentors and the King County Bar Association from any and all liability of any kind whatsoever or nature;
    9. The person submitting the request holds mentors and the King County Bar Association harmless for any and all liability of any kind whatsoever;
    10. The inquiry does not require a response in less than two business days.
