Our volunteers are essential in making the pro bono programs possible. With over 1,200 attorneys, paralegals, students, and community members volunteering, we are able to serve over 10,000 clients a year. As a KCBA volunteer, you are a representative of Pro Bono Services and are an important part of our team.

“Volunteering for the KCBA's pro bono programs has given me the opportunity to help low-income people access that promised democratic principle of justice for all, not just those who can afford it. Clients emerge with their rights restored, their voices heard, and their faith in the justice system renewed — and being a part of that process is satisfying beyond words.”
