The King County Bar Foundation’s annual fundraising breakfast, Breakfast With Champions will feature NPR national political correspondent, Mara Liasson March 22, 2012 at the Westin Seattle hotel beginning at 7:30 a.m.

The Breakfast With Champions recognizes the work of individuals dedicated to justice and diversity. Funds raised at the Breakfast support pro bono legal services delivered to individuals in King County who are the neediest and least served – the homeless, immigrants, frail, abused, and disenfranchised. The Breakfast also recognizes that every member of our society, regardless of race or ethnicity, must have a stake in our legal system. Breakfast contributions also support KCBF’s Minority Law Student Scholarship program. KCBF is one of the largest providers of minority scholarships to law students in the state and is dedicated to expanding opportunities with the law for people of color.
