Nearly 400 attorneys, judges and guests gathered at the King County Bar Association’s Annual Awards Dinner held on June 24th at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Seattle to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the 2009 award recipients. Honored were:
Ernest Aguilar,
President’s Award;
Pallavi Wahi,
Outstanding Young Lawyer;
Norma Ureña,
Pro Bono Award;
Christopher Bayley,
Outstanding Lawyer;
the Honorable LeRoy McCullough,
Outstanding Judge; and
the Honorable Ronald Gould,

The honorees’ accomplishments were showcased in videotaped interviews that included biographical information and remarks. Other highlights of the evening included the passing of the gavel from Daniel Gandara, 2008-2009 KCBA President, to James Andrus, 2009-2010 KCBA President, and the King County Bar Foundation “Auction for Justice” featuring the Honorable Charlie Burdell as auctioneer. Spirited bidding raised $6,150 for the Foundation’s Endowment Fund.
