Pillar Benefits

King County Bar Association
Thanks the 2008-2009 Pillars of the Bar

Pillar firms are those that support the mission and activities of King County Bar Association through 100% membership among the attorneys in the firm. This kind of support is critical to the Association and, judging by responses to a survey of representatives of the Pillar Firms, being a Pillar is important to the firms as well!

Asked what parts of our mission are most important to them, survey responses, in descending order of importance, were:

  • Promoting professional excellence
  • Strengthening the administration of justice
  • Ensuring the availability of legal services for all persons
  • Increasing public understanding of the law
  • Providing opportunities for professional growth and development
  • Demonstrating leadership in the legal community

Asked why they chose to become a Pillar of the Bar, responses were:

  • Our participation shows support of KCBA
  • The choice ensures our involvement with the local legal community
  • An added chance to network within the legal community
  • Marketing opportunities for the firm
  • Other reasons, including ease of billing process

We are gratified that the Pillars of the Bar program serves the Bar and the representatives of Pillar firms!
