Pillars of the Bar
|
Pillar firms are those that support the mission and activities of King County Bar Association through 100% membership among the attorneys in the firm. This kind of support is critical to the Association and, judging by responses to a survey of representatives of the Pillar Firms, being a Pillar is important to the firms as well!
Asked what parts of our mission are most important to them, survey responses, in descending order of importance, were:
- Promoting professional excellence
- Strengthening the administration of justice
- Ensuring the availability of legal services for all persons
- Increasing public understanding of the law
- Providing opportunities for professional growth and development
- Demonstrating leadership in the legal community
Asked why they chose to become a Pillar of the Bar, responses were:
- Our participation shows support of KCBA
- The choice ensures our involvement with the local legal community
- An added chance to network within the legal community
- Marketing opportunities for the firm
- Other reasons, including ease of billing process
We are gratified that the Pillars of the Bar program serves the Bar and the representatives of Pillar firms!
