AWARDS: Selects recipients of the Association’s awards for Outstanding Judge, Outstanding Lawyer, Friend of the Legal Profession, Outstanding Jurist, the Helen Geisness Award (for service to KCBA), all presented at the Annual Awards Banquet generally held the fourth Thursday in June. Committee meets from January through March.

Activities: Committee members nominate and discuss possible awardees. Members participate in developing articles about the awards recipients for use at the annual awards banquet and for publication in the June edition of the Bar Bulletin.
