The King County Bar Association’s 2012 Annual Awards Dinner was conducted on June 19th. The annual, "Passing of the Gavel," tradition indicated the commencement of Richard Mitchell's tenure serving as KCBA President for 2012-2013 while noting the accomplishments of our now Past President Joseph Bringman, 2011-2012 KCBA President.
Special guest, King County Executive Dow Constantine, gave an impassioned presentation on King County Proposition 1, which would approve the construction of a new juvenile court facility. Joining Dow Constantine was Superior Court Judge Michael Trickey, a former presiding judge of our local bench.
