Section Happenings
KCBA Section Spotlight
Appellate Practice
Each month we will highlight one of the thirteen active sections at KCBA.  This month’s section is the Appellate Practice section, led by Section Chair Jessica Skelton.
The purpose of the Appellate Practice section is to help appellate practitioners improve their practice with special emphasis on interacting with the King County Superior Court, the Washington Court of Appeals, Division I, and the King County-based members of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, all to assist those appellate practitioners with providing high quality legal services to their clients and advancing the development of the law and legitimacy of the legal system. The section will sponsor and otherwise participate in educational and other activities relating to appellate practice.
The Appellate Practice section meets at noon on the second Monday of each month at KCBA offices and has 186 members.  The next section meeting will be May 14.
All KCBA members are invited to attend one section meeting on a complimentary basis to experience the benefits of section membership.  Also, section membership is required for attendance at the monthly section CLE meetings.
