    The Washington State Supreme Court adopted new Rules of Professional Conduct for Lawyers on July 10, 2006, with an effective date of September 1, 2006.

    This full day seminar will review the new rules; the rationale behind the changes; the process that resulted in the Supreme Court's implementation and the practical impact on your practice. Be prepared to think about some tough issues and hear viewpoints that might challenge your belief system as we talk about the new rules and the ethical implications they encompass. This will be an interactive setting. You are encouraged to bring your questions. Every year KCBA devotes one full day to an substantive discussion on the Rules of Professional Conduct.
