The King County Bar Association has nominated a slate of candidates for the offices to be filled in the 2008 election in April. The nominations are:

Nominations other than those made by the Nominating Committee may be made by March 17, 2008 by a petition signed by 15 members of the Association and filed with the KCBA Secretary, Joan Tierney, along with a 250-word statement of biographical information and a photo.
The King County Bar Association is the largest voluntary bar in the Pacific Northwest, with over 5,300 members and a budget of approximately $2,700,000. The Association conducts programs designed to improve the administration of justice, increase the professionalism of its members, and serve the public. In 2005-2006, 1,650 attorneys volunteered 24,000 hours to provide a legal safety net for nearly 10,000 vulnerable King Count residents, generating over $6.5 million in free legal services.
