What is the WLPM?
The Washington Lawyers Practice Manual is a comprehensive legal

exclusively by the King County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
Our publication provides instant access to 25 of the most frequently used
areas of Washington State law, and is updated annually. With over 3000 pages
of new information this year, we have added extensive updates for 2010 in
numerous chapters including: Business Law, Domestic Partnerships, Employment
Discrimination, Internet & Technology, Real Property and more.

Yearly Updates for Subscribers
The WLPM is a subscription service. With the purchase of a complete print or CD edition,
you will automatically be subscribed to receive annual updates to ensure your WLPM always
reflects the most up - to - date information. Given the number of changes to the WLPM every
year, our members want to know that their reference material represents current law.
Each year prior to the release of the annual update, you will receive correspondence from
KCBA to confirm your subscription and the impending delivery of your updated information.
You are free to cancel your subscription at any time.
Save Valuable Time and Client Resources
Large firms use our eight-volume print edition of the Washington Lawyer’s Practice
Manual to support the research of out-of-state summer interns. The full CD-ROM
edition* also allows solo practitioners and smaller law firms to reduce library
research time. No matter what size your practice, the Washington Lawyers Practice
Manual allows you to save time and pass valuable savings on to clients. A great
resource for non-attorney professionals and paralegals, too!
Your Purchase Supports KCBA’s Neighborhood Legal Clinics
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Washington Lawyers Practice Manual
go to support our Neighborhood Legal Clinics program, ensuring our community’s
continued access to the justice system at absolutely no cost. Since 1974, the King
County Bar Association’s Neighborhood Legal Clinics have offered free legal advice
and consultation to King County residents. Last year, over 600 volunteer attorneys
and assistants served nearly 8000 clients at 32 clinics countywide.
