CURRENT EVENTS COMMITTEE: Monitors current events affecting young lawyers. The committee will research issues and recommend to the YLD board a course of action such as publishing a statement, lobbying for change or continued monitoring of an issue that may affect the YLD in the future.
Activities: Issues previously discussed by the YLD include Indian Law questions of the Washington State Bar exam, same-sex marriage legislation, and new lawyer orientation requirements.
