Mission Statement: The purpose of the section is to promote interest in labor law, to stimulate and extend the study of the field, to improve the level of professional knowledge and to improve the application of justice in the field.
Activities: The Labor and Employment Law Section sponsors an annual lunch in January and the Pacific Coast Labor & Employment Law Conference in May. The section consists of attorneys whose practice includes representing clients in litigation or advisory matters involving labor and/or employment issues. Speakers will usually make presentations at the annual lunch and spring business meeting, where CLE credits are available.
