Mission Statement: The Intellectual Property Section of the King County Bar Association provides a discussion forum for issues relevant to intellectual property law. It sponsors CLEs with an intellectual property focus and networking events for IP practitioners.
Activities: The Section hosts monthly CLE meetings on a range of IP issues including patents, copyrights, trademarks, licensing, privacy, evidence and discovery, contracts, computer crime, taxation, litigation and legislation. The Section also arranges occasional additional CLE opportunities, hosts group dial-in for telephonic CLEs of interest, and hosts occasional firm-sponsored happy hours. Members can include both those who specialize in and those who occasionally work on IP matters.
