Environmental Law Section

Mission Statement: The Environmental Law Section’s purpose is to encourage the professional and social development of attorneys and professionals in King County whose practice involves litigation, counseling, or consulting on environmental and land use law and regulation. Attorneys, professionals, and students in private practice, corporations, government, the non-profit sector, and academia are welcome to participate.

Activities: The Section meets on a bi-monthly basis for business purposes and schedules regular “brown bag” lunch forums for presentations and discussion of legal and practical issues. The Section also coordinates with the KCBA on environmental and land use law programs and co-hosts annual Environmental Law Section CLEs.
