Each year, the Lawyer Referral Service responds to about 40,000 callers, referring them to attorneys in many areas of law or to relevant agencies.
The Lawyer Referral Service is a public service of the nonprofit King County Bar Association. The service meets American Bar Association standards for the operation of lawyer referral services.
If you have a personal injury case, a workers compensation case, or an appeal of an SSI or SSD denial, the first consultation with the attorney is free. For other matters, the first half hour consultation is $35. We collect this consultation fee by credit card, so we will call you at the number you furnish to complete the transaction and make the referral.
