Pro Bono Services

VLS Attorneys Needed

As part of KCBA’s Pro Bono Services, the Volunteer Legal Services (VLS) program serves those living in King County who are in need of direct legal representation. The legal issues range from debt defense, Chapter 7 bankruptcy, social security overpayments, estate planning, and vacating criminal convictions. While the ongoing dedication of our volunteers makes this program possible, the number of individuals seeking legal assistance currently surpasses the number of attorneys willing to take on new cases. If you are an experienced attorney and interested in providing direct representation to a low-income client in any of the areas listed above, please reach out to the VLS Staff Attorney, Paige Hardy, at PaigeH@kcba.orgClick here for more information.
