A young man (John) walks into your office wanting a divorce. As he tells his story, you learn that he met his wife (Sara) four years ago while performing with Cirque du Soleil in Marymoor Park and that they married a year later. 

At the time, John had resided in Washington all his life, save four years in college in Los Angeles. They have no children and moved to separate cities earlier in the year. He also tells you that during their marriage Sara was hit by a drunk driver and filed a lawsuit in King County seeking damages.
