Judge Bradshaw’s Farewell Remarks

August 2019 Bar Bulletin

Editor’s Note: King County Superior Court Judge Timothy A. Bradshaw informed Gov. Jay Inslee on July 1 of his retirement from the bench, effective September 1. In his letter, he shared some observations about his 10 years of service, which we reprint with Judge Bradshaw’s permission for KCBA members’ consideration.

Dear Governor Inslee:

Ten and half years ago, the citizens of King County entrusted me with the immense privilege of serving on the Superior Court bench. This is to advise you, pursuant to WA Constitution Art. IV, Sec. 5, that I hereby tender my resignation from my office of Superior Court Judge, effective September 1, 2019.
