For more than 50 years, various courts in the United States have held that satire and parody are protected speech under the First Amendment. Once again, Donald Trump simply does not get it. He may not like Alec Baldwin and the writers, producers, etc., of SNL, but there is not a darn thing he can do about it, and the FCC sure as heck is not going to “scrutinize” television skits.
