Recently, I had the opportunity to participate in a group with some women friends to practice gratitude. Sounds easy? It was not. I discovered that intentional and meaningful gratitude takes effort.
While it was easy to tick the boxes of things I am grateful for in my life, like my family, my health, my friends; it was more difficult to experience gratitude at a deeper level. Our group engaged in a weekly exercise that took some effort and thought. I was not successful at completing all of the exercises; however, I benefited from attempting to do so.
