This article focuses on the steady rise of accidental consumption of cannabis-
infused edibles by children; specifically children under the age of five.1 On January 9, the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) adopted new packaging and labeling policies for cannabis-infused edibles to address the consumption of cannabis-edibles by children.
