The practice of law is sometimes concerned with statutes, good-cause exceptions and wordplay across several dictionaries, but, at some level, the practice of law is always about a human connection.
That connection and the need to help individuals in our community are what drive our new Social Security Mentorship Project. In partnership with the Seattle Community Law Center (SCLC), the King County Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal Services is starting the Social Security cohort to pair mentee attorneys with experienced SCLC mentor attorneys to provide clients with representation for Social Security overpayment cases.
