Mariners Pledge $3 Million in Fighting Eviction: KCBA, United Way Partnership

The Seattle Mariners have pledged $3 million as the lead sponsor for a new partnership headed by the KCBA and United Way to fight homelessness through the bar’s Housing Justice Project. The “Home Base” program was announced at a December 14 press conference held by KCBA President Harry Schneider, Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan and others.
