Mary Ellen Krug was diminutive and hardly dominating. But her intellect was such that she became the leading labor law lawyer in the State and, indeed, one of the leaders of that field in the whole country. At the time of her death she was the chairman of the ABA Section of Labor Law. Jerry Rubin is also preeminent in that field, and he has been ably assisted by such as Judith Stouder and Margaret Barbier.
