That Michele Storms stands out in the crowd is a given. The many sources contacted for this article, all of whom have come to know Michele at various times and in varying roles throughout her career, were consistent. Again and again they described Michele as both “humble” and “a superstar.” That is a rare combination of qualities in a lawyer.
Michele’s selection as KCBA’s Outstanding Lawyer for 2018 presents a wonderful symmetry. “In her youth,” Michele was acknowledged by KCBA as its “Outstanding Young Lawyer” in 1992.
