My dear Mr. Huneke:
I enclose in duplicate a paper entitled “John Rupp’s Memoirs of a Juror,” the first few paragraphs of which will convey to you the information usually contained in a letter of transmittal. I realize that the paper is quite a bit longer than that called for in your specification of about a year ago, and that circumstance may present you with some choices, viz.:
1. Ask me to shorten it;
2. Publish it as it is;...
