As announced in a July 2017 article in the Bar Bulletin — “Standing Up for the Underrepresented”1 — the International Family Justice Coalition (IFJC) was started last year with the goal of filling an access-to-justice gap in family law services, especially where it impacts immigrant families. Our article provided some significant examples of the problems caused by that gap, which led us to set up IFJC.
