For years, the Third Avenue side of the King County Courthouse had been deteriorating. Many of us who work there and walk there daily had grown so used to the smell, the verbal abuse, the drug dealing, the intoxication and the screaming that we simply tuned it out. I’ve been walking it for 22 years.
