I think it not amiss for me to set down some random recollections of what I shall call “The Shidler Law Firm”, a firm with which I have been acquainted for more than fifty years. In doing so I think of Mr. Henry Broderick because “HB” used to greet his friends at Christmas time with little essays and remembrances of things past.
