Seattle is the national leader in providing for a living wage. This can have a major impact on restaurants, and many local businesses have made significant business adjustments and staffing/service changes to account for this increased expense. Despite the challenges involved, a significant number of local restaurateurs have taken a leadership role in providing and advocating for the right to a living wage. We highlight a few of these establishments in this month’s column.
