An early investigation of the facts will likely tell you and your attorney where you should concentrate efforts best to position yourself for success in the lawsuit. This is logical — you don’t make decisions about your business in a void, but instead try to gather as much relevant information as possible to make informed decisions, and the greater the decision the more information you’ll want to have.
