Wildfires ravaged Washington and Oregon (where I now live) last spring and summer. Hundreds of homes were lost and several small communities laid to ruins.
After I retired from my law practice at Karr Tuttle Campbell at the end of last year, my wife and I moved back to Central Oregon, from whence we came to Seattle in 1993 so that I could enter law school at the University of Washington.
