September 2020 Bar Bulletin
I always think of September as back-to-school month even though I haven’t been in school since the 1980’s. This year is a bit different, though, to say the least. The newspaper is still full of ads for school clothes, backpacks, lunchboxes, etc., but also masks and (when available) hand sanitizer. And those ads are based on the optimistic assumption that “back-to-school” involves an actual school building with people in it, not Zoom from a makeshift desk in the laundry room.
