Winter in Washington has music fans daydreaming about the warm summer months, when music festivals take place across the state the entire season. These beloved festivals draw humongous crowds as fans flock to see their favorite musicians perform. Unfortunately, these same musicians face injustice behind-the-scenes. And only now has the Washington legislature changed the law to better protect one of this state’s many valuable resources — its music scene.
