The legal profression is stressful and overewhelming. Studies have shown that attorneys are 3.6 times as likely to be depressed as other employed individuals.1 Over a quarter of licensed and employed attorneys suffer from depression, and over a fifth are characterized as “problem drinkers.”2 But, if you’ve been practicing in this profession for any amount of time, this is certainly not news to you.
