Chairing or Presenting at a CLE
You are invited to share your experience and insight with the legal community! King County Bar Association encourages local attorneys with substantive experience and insight to present topics of interest at our CLE programs!
General expectations for Program Chairperson and Presenters include:
Program Chairperson:
- Outline topic ideas and agenda
- Identify and contact potential presenters
- Assist the CLE department in keeping presenters on time for deadlines
- Act as "MC" during the program
Presenters:
- Prepare oral presentation to accommodate agenda time slot
- Submit written materials 30 days prior to program
- Submit powerpoint or other visual component(s) of presentation 2 weeks prior to event (optional)
- Participate in one faculty meeting in person or via conference call
- Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled presentation time slot
