Program Assistant Positions

The King County Bar Association (KCBA) is a membership association whose mission includes supporting the professional development of our members, working with the courts to improve procedures & judicial competencies and working with members to develop public policy that affects the local bar. KCBA also encompasses the largest pro bono and civil legal aid program in the state, promoting social justice.


General Duties

These three positions provide general and administrative support for various KCBA programs. While specific duties vary from position to position, the qualifications and skills required to perform these positions are the same. Qualifications

  • BA or equivalent combination of education and experience (students anticipating graduation in May or June 2019 are encouraged to apply)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Effective communicator including a positive customer service attitude;
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; Demonstrated ability to coordinate a number of tasks and projects simultaneously;
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with effective time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team;
  • Ability to work varied hours as needed;
  • Commitment to access to justice;
  • Database and data analysis experience helpful;
  • Marketing or design experience helpful.

Schedule, Travel, Salary & Benefits

These are non-exempt full-time positions based at our downtown Seattle office, though requiring occasional local travel within King County. Salary range is $35,000 - $40,000 yearly, depending on experience, with excellent benefits.
